NBC在TCA活动上宣布一口气续订医务剧《#医院革命# New Amsterdam》三季，使其起码播到22-23年度（第五季），同时他们宣布正研究为《医院革命》制作衍生剧。

本剧由瑞奇·热维斯自编自导自演，故事以虚构小镇坦布里为背景，讲述托尼是当地一家报社的作家，在妻子死于癌症后，他的生活发生了翻天覆地的变化。
